Delivering the essential information for an event in a quick snapshot from the browsing page would arguably be the most important, and most challenging, aspect of FindEmAll's event system.

I knew that the card for event information would need to be balanced between visual elements and text elements. The key would be learning how to balance them.

I began my approach by leaning into the two extremes: something that would emphasize visual photographs and banners, then something that would emphasize text. Using this method would allow me to see where both elements would need to be scaled back.

I decided on this version because it balanced the visual element of an event well against the text elements of the event.

The result was an event card that could allow the events imagery to be appealing, but also deliver the essential information related to the event.
